"Do Something Creative Everyday" -PaperSource

One of my favorite stores EVER is Chicago based PaperSource. They have stores spread throughout the country and thankfully four of them are in the Boston area! Lucky for me my office is about five buildings down from a PaperSource, so needless to say, I spend many lunch hours browsing and buying paper and getting some great creative ideas for projects.

I particularly love buying their flat sheets of paper and using them to wrap gifts and design envelope liners (they have templates!). The flat sheets come in all sorts of designs, colors, and textures. I‘m not too into super girly colors and designs so I like how PaperSource has a great variety and makes it easy to buy paper, whether its for a gift for a girl or a guy!

I made this box for a guy friend who was driving cross country. All I did was take a box, wrap it in a flat sheet of paper from PaperSource (it was a US map- how fitting!), and filled the box with “necessities” for a cross country drive (first aid kit, notebook, disposable camera, handiwipes, McDonalds gift cards-duh, etc)!

Another great creative idea for their flat paper is to frame it to create inexpensive art work for your apartment! All you have to do is buy some basic 8×10 frames (or whatever size you chose), cut the paper to size, arrange on a wall, and voila! (pictures to come… I’m in the mood to spice up a big blank wall in the living room!)

I also looooove that their motto is “Do Something Creative Everyday” :)

Makes me very happy.
