The good thing about Chels and I working on this site together is that we have completely different tastes. We both appreciate each other’s styles (at least I think she appreciates my pink, girly EVERYTHING…maybe not), we just enjoy completely different color combinations. I got a new Nautica comforter last weekend and am excited by how the pink brightens up my room.
Of course, I would much rather my room look like this: 
But when you’re a poor 20-something renting an expensive apartment in Boston, you don’t have the luxury of painting the walls (and floor) of your bedroom. Not to mention, affording the $40 throw pillows they expect you to buy.
I also got all new pillows because I heard somewhere that you’re supposed to replace them every few years. I also saw a disturbing segment on the Today Show in which Matt Lauer told me I was sleeping in a mini-ecosystem. And that the monster may not be under my bed, but in it. I’ll never forget that. It had been way too long since I got new pillows, so I remedied that.
I’ll update when I get better quality pictures, better decorations, and a matching throw. I need a pretty green one. Preferably, this Garnett Hill cashmere throw in meadow mist green:
