MUST go: 1154 Lill Studio

Theres’s about a 99.99% chance that I just had the most fun I’ve had in a while. My co-worker Paul organized a nightout for himself and a bunch of us ladies at work to design SPRING purses and bags at 1154 Lill Studio on Newbury Street (I think the more you think about Spring during the winter… the faster Spring arrives). Everyone brought wine, cheese, crackers, snacks, dips… yum. We sipped wine, designed handbags/picked out fabrics, goofed off, chatted, and bonded. So much fun. There are a bunch of different styles of bags to chose from (from messenger bags, to wallets, to makeup or jewlerey bags-which is what I wound up ordering). Tons of fabrics too… which for me, was Heaven. I initially wanted to order a clutch but once I got to the studio I figured I really need a jewlery/makeup bag for when I travel. So that is what I did. I have a thing for birds and tree braches so I chose these fabrics:

Tons of fun! Lill Studio hosts private parties for all occasions or you can stop by during their regular store hours and design bags. If you have a priavate party they have an orientation at the beginning of the session where they go over the basics then you spend the rest of the time designing and chosing fabrics. They also have store locations in Chicago, Kansas City, and Philly, but you can custom order and design bags on their website! It takes about three weeks for your bag to be delivered. Can’t wait to get mine :)
