Just steps from my office, this has been an obsession of mine for the whole summer actually. But just this week I found fairytale mini eggplants at the Siena Farms table which made me love them both even more. Not only are these mini eggplants ADORABLE, but they’re really tasty when sauteed in a pan with a little olive oil, salt, and pepper. The sweetness and creaminess of these little things is to die for!
One of the main reasons I enjoy Siena Farms so much is not only because of their wide range of produce, but the people who work there are incredibly friendly and helpful. All of the baskets have little recipe ideas and tips as well, which is a huge help! I think I’m going to need to take a little drive to the suburbs to check out the actual farm.

The farmer’s market in Copley will be up and running until Thanksgiving… yum!
…For obvious reasons, but mostly because of their Guacamole Kit. This could have been around for years and now I’m just discovering it, but I think it’s a pretty smart idea. My sister and I were craving some guacamole while we were watching the Patriots game so we went to Trader Joe’s being prepared to buy everything individually when we stumbled across an entire kit. Score!
Included in the kit:
2 Avocados
2 Roma Tomatoes
1 Onion
2 Cloves of Garlic
1 Lime
1 jalepeno pepper.
I’m pretty sure the whole thing was only $2.99 which is the biggest bargain of the week I believe and a heck-of-a-lot cheaper than buying everything individually! Very good idea and perfect timing for football season!
bed, Friday, WEEKEND! Everyone enjoy it!

chelsee, that eggplant looks so delicious!!
I’m on guacamole withdrawal. need my chips, salsa and guac!
The guacamole kit is genius! I can’t believe how reasonably priced it is. And who could not go crazy for an eggplant named fairytale? The fact that they are delicious is just a bonus
