Valentine’s Day Bark!

About two weeks ago at work I mentioned in passing that I should make a Valentine’s Day version of the white chocolate bark I made and brought into the office for Christmas. Earlier this week two of my coworkers, Melanie and Tarryn, asked if I could come over to their desks to ask me something. Having no idea what they were going to ask me, I got up and walked a few desks down to see what was going on. Right when I got there one of them said, “Chelsee, were you seriously planning on making the Valentine’s Day bark????” I said of course, but I just had to go out and buy the candy to put in. Melanie immediately offered to go to the store to pick up some Valentine’s Day candy and at that point I knew i HAD to make this stuff again, it was a huge hit!

I followed the SIMPLE instructions, as I did with the Christmas Bark I made back in December, (which my mother told me to never bring home again because she was madly in love with it!)

(sprinkle your assortment of candy and snacks on a cookie sheet. I used DOUBLE stuffed Oreos hello, Valentine’s day hearts and M&Ms, pretzels, and red and pink sprinkles)

(drizzle melted white chocolate over candy and snacks. In order for it to melt and chill correctly you have to use the melting chocolate discs that are sold at craft stores or candy stores. Top with sprinkles then chill in the fridge until hardened.)
Yum!

So I brought the platter of bark to work today and needless to say it has been breakfast for a few unmentioned souls! :)

Thanks again to Sas for introducing this to all of us way back on Halloween!

Happy Love Day and… Happy weekend!
