You never know how much stuff you own until you are moving! It’s crazy. By the way, some of the tips people gave you are great – the color coding one is my favorite, I guess. I always advise people to simply label the boxes so that they will know what exactly is in every box but this seems to even better.

I hope the move went well! We always have our bed and bedding ready so that we can crash after moving everything. That and face wash, toothbrushes, contact solution, anything I need for bed time. Then go out to dinner

The longest I lived anywhere (well except my house growing up which was my whole life until college), was my last place in Somerville, 3 years! BEfore that it was EVERY year…during college and after.

moving gets things so organized b/c you’re just forced to deal with it. i don’t think your desk looks all that cluttered, which must mean mine is more cluttered. now i want to move!

Just found your blog and LOVE LOVE LOVE it. I lived in the same town/area all my life, but have lived in several homes over the years. Moving is always a great time to purge. Hope your move goes well for you!

I just want to say how much I loved feta month! So many amazing new go-to recipes! Cheers girls. Excluding the house I grew up in and college, my current apartment in Brookline is the one I’ve been at longest. Going on 3 years. Can’t beat Coolidge Corner!
