Hi friends! I’ve been off enjoying my wedding festivities and knew I wouldn’t have a whole lot of time to post. Well, that’s kind of a lie. I had a bunch of recipes and photos ready to go and had high aspirations to set posts for each day I’ll be gone… But in the midst of crazy wedding planning, that didn’t exactly happen. I realized I had a zillion other things going on and gave myself a break from getting all things blog ready. And I’m glad I did because this weekend has been incredible. We’ve been on a high and have been staying at the Colonnade Hotel (where our wedding was) in absolute luxury the past 3 days. Now we’re off to relax on the beach where I’m planning a total disconnect from all technology (except for my Kindle!); let’s see how I do with no tweeting, blogging, or emailing for 12 days…
Luckily I had the foresight to ask a couple of my favorite bloggers for some guest posts while I’m in wedding land. Brandi from BranAppetit and Julie Q from the JQ Lounge will be posting later this week and next. I apologize for my absence and promise that I will be jumping back in FULL speed when I return. For now, I will say that I had the BEST wedding weekend I could possibly imagine and am beyond happy right now. Of course, I’ll share some of the fabulous details when I return from my honeymoon!! What a beautiful wedding! Have a great honeymoon! I think one of the best things about my honeymoon was completely disconnecting from technology and just spending time with my husband without the temptation to whip out my phone and see what facebook/twitter/email/whatever is up to. Enjoy it!
