Albion Fit Swimwear and Fitness + a $175 Giveaway!

Albion Fit.jpg

You know what I never seem to have enough of? Cute clothing to work out in and lounge around in. Because really, you can admit it- they’re one in the same. You want your workout clothes to be completely comfortable. Comfortable enough that you could take a nap in them. It’s kind of weird how that works, isn’t it? But most comfy clothes? Look majorly frumpy on me. I’m not one of those people who can just effortlessly throw on a sweatshirt and pair of sweatpants and go about my day looking all glamorous. Nope, I generally look a hot mess in sweats. It’s been basically a lifelong process to find a sweatshirt that’s both comfortable and semi-decent looking on me. Which is why I’m ridiculously excited about this post and giveaway. And I hope you are, too!

Albion Fit offers beautiful, comfortable, and high-performance fitness and swimwear for the fashion and health-conscious female. When they reached out to me, they stressed that they recognize the importance of balancing an active lifestyle with a passion for delicious cooking and a delight in creativity. Love it! But really, I loved every single product I saw on their website. They kindly offered to let me pick a few things out for myself and hold a giveaway for WANM readers… hooray!

I was immediately attracted to the Signature Hoodie because it looked fitted and like the most comfortable sweatshirt on Earth. Guess what? It is! I’m legitimately planning on eventually owning one in every color because I know I’ll be getting plenty of use out of this one!

Normally, I’m not a fan of big branding on clothing, but I actually don’t mind the branding on Albion Fit’s sweatshirt. It’s classy and though large, it’s discrete enough and doesn’t scream out a brand name. Plus, the hood (and my hair) mostly cover it.

Albion Fit 2.jpg

I love the little detailed branding, too. And do you see what I see??

Albion Fit 10.jpg

Thumb-holes! There’s nothing better in life.

Also, those capris. They’re the Optimum Capris in graphite. Compression capris make the best workout pants, but they’re also my favorite item to wear while hanging out on the weekends. I love the wide comfortable waistband on these.

Albion Fit 8.jpg

Albion Fit also let me pick out a bathing suit (which I will not be modeling here!) – I chose this Chevron Bandeau set. One of my least favorite things about bathing suits is that it’s so tough to find bottoms offer enough coverage. The bottoms to this suit are PERFECT and again, the most comfortable ever.

I have a feeling their other bathing suits fit similarly… and they’re all so pretty and feminine! I love this ruffly suit.

And the “Show Stopper” is perfect for a day on the boat!

I would probably wear this Blousy Suit Top as a regular top because it’s so adorable!

My next Signature Hoodie must be the Belize Blue one!

And I’m also determined to try Albion Fit’s Love Racer, which comes in a large variety of colors.

OK, I’ll never be a fitness model. Or a watch television on the couch model. Maybe I can be a hands on the hips model. Because clearly I like doing that. Weird.

{Anthropologie} Lust List

Most people, whether they know me in real life or, um, “fake life”, know that I’m in love with clothes, bold designs, and clean lines. I often regret not studying something related to fashion in college. Along with not studying interior design or psychology. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love graphic design but there are so many other things in life that I love just as much. Maybe I should go back to college for the rest of my life.

This being said, I find myself lusting over clothes, home furnishings, and anything else design related almost every ten minutes. I also find myself starring at well-dressed men and women like a stalkery creep more often than I feel comfortable admitting on the world wide web. So, instead of hoarding my pretty internet finds to myself, I decided to start sharing them with you all in a series I’m going to call the Lust List. I’ll either spotlight a specific store (today is all things I’m currently lusting over at Anthropologie), or a I’ll break it down by accessories, handbags, shoes, makeup, heck maybe even as specific as throw pillows! You get the idea. We always say We are not Martha is a “food and lifestyle blog” but sometimes we forget about the “lifestyle” part and that’s something I never want to forget about because I feel like it’s the thing I relate to most. There’s just too much pretty in the world to not talk about it.

So shall we begin the first Lust List?

I need this whole outfit on my body immediately. Casual done right.

Are you okay with wrapping yourself in art? Because this Pixel Impressionist Shift ($158) is exactly that. If I didn’t end up wearing it (which would never happen) I would most definitely be tempted to frame it!

Picture 29.png

I’ve been eyeing this Horkelia Shift dress ($178) ever since I first saw it on Anthropologie’s website a while ago. The color is delicious and the lace to die for. If I purchase it, my biggest fear is that I’ll never take it off. But worse things have been known to happen, I suppose.

201108032238.jpg

To me, nothing is hotter than a yellow pant. Except a yellow linen trouser pant. With wooden buttons. Drooling on my keyboard. (Capacious Trousers, Gold, $88)

201108032239.jpg

My love of peacock feathers knows no bounds. Exhibit A: The Swaying Meadow Skirt ($128).

201108032241.jpg

Anything lace is just necessary in a lady’s wardrobe, as seen in the Bosky Lace Skirt ($118).

201108032242.jpg

Sometimes when I see something that’s so stunning and impeccably designed I can’t contain myself. My breathing gets heavy and sometimes I even bounce up and down on the couch. Or scream. Or develop an eye twitch. No big deal. That’s what happened when I saw this Placed Pixels Blouse ($178). Kind of worth not going grocery shopping for a couple weeks, right? RIGHT?!

201108032251.jpg

This Bordered Bars Scarf in Gold ($98) just makes me feel every positive emotion known to mankind. There are no other words. Besides that it needs to be introduced to my neck and shoulders, like, tomorrow.

201108032318.jpg

I love a chunky necklace as much as the next girl, but lately I’ve been digging simple pieces that are easy to layer and light enough to wear in the summer. This Fairweather Necklace on an antique metal chain is just daaahling.

201108032307.jpg

Ahh, remember those plastic bracelets we used to make back in elementary school? Welp, apparently they’re back and I’m not mad about it. But they’re ten times hotter than they were in 1991 (as are most things!). I’m thinking buying it in a couple colors and stacking them would be the best thing to do. (Lanyard Bracelets, $48).

201108032313.jpg

I don’t currently have any walls to cover in wallpaper but I’m still lusting over this Blazing Poppies wallpaper ($148, roll: 27′L, 27″W). But at this point I’d honestly buy a roll and wrap myself in it. It would make a lovely dress, no?

201108032325.jpg

This is a prime example of why lusting over things is good. Because I know, full well, with a little distressing and a few stencils, that I could make a dresser like this. Lust turned into inspiration! Now, if you have $998 to spend on a small dresser, by all means, buy this one. And then buy me one too since I’ll probably never get around to making my own ;)

201108032331.jpg

Call me crazy but I have a thing for shoe forms. Which, naturally, means I have a thing for Anthro’s Sure Footed Base ($498). I’m picturing it on an end table next to a vintage typewriter. Do you see my vision?

201108032337.jpg

I have a confession to make. Sometimes I buy hardware from Anthro even though I have zero use for it. But, hello. If it’s pretty and under $20 I’ll buy it just to have… for, you know… an emergency? Changing out the hardware on furniture is one of the easiest ways to spruce up an otherwise ordinary piece. I love anything graphic, so this Lucky Number Knob in yellow is currently stealing my heart.

What’s on your lust list this week?
